- All Schools – You are responsible to clean up your area each day. There will be a clean-up break between the Breaststroke and 400 Free Relays each day to ensure team areas are clean.
- WE WILL FOLLOW THE NFSH 2019 - 2020 RULE BOOK, EXCEPTIONS BELOW
- Rules:
- The National Federation of State High School Association rules will govern the meet. USA swim officials will run the meet according to these rules. As a reminder, please note the following items:
- Sportsmanship and proper conduct will be expected per NFHS guidelines [RULE 3-6-1A-G]
- Swimmers must enter the water feet first prior to warming-up and cooling down.
- NOTE: The EBAL League Championship meet will be USA Swimming observed and the times will be submitted to Pacific Swimming for inclusion
- Swimmers must wear either one-piece team suits or one-piece plain dark blue or black suits without any type of fasteners. Only high school swim team logos are allowed.
- Branded logos must not exceed 2-1/4" square, or 2'x3' for US Flag [RULE 3-3-1/-2/-3]
- No shaving is allowed at the pool site or in the adjoining buildings.
- Kinesio tapes of any kind are not allowed unless swimmer has a valid doctor's note and presented to the meet referee for approval prior to competition event [RULE 3-3-4]
- Swim caps shall be team caps or turned inside out during the competition.
- Individual teams must provide their own lap counters.
- Declared false starts ("DFS") must be handed to the meet referee no less than thirty (30) minutes prior to the start of that day's session to avoid penalty. A DFS event still counts as an entry for the swimmer [RULE 3-2-3]
- As referenced in the NFHS Swimming Rules 3-2-2-3, since this is a championship meet the swimmer shall be disqualified from further competition for failing to compete in all races and heats for which he/she has qualified and/or been entered.

- Exceptions to Championships from league bylaws:
- Each school will be allowed eight (8) entries per individual Varsity event and eight (8) entries per JV event with the following exception of unlimited entries in JV & Var. 50 & 100 free and Diving
- Only four Varsity Swimmers / Divers per school are allowed to move on to Finals and score, and only four JV Swimmers / Divers per school are allowed to score in each event this includes alternates. Note, alternates count as part of the four
- Relays: either the ‘A’ or ‘B’ relay advance on time but only one team per school is allowed to advance in to the finals. All teams will advance a legal relay to finals, swum in one heat in the finals session. Swimming scratches for Saturday must be declared on Friday within 30 minutes of the conclusion of the varsity boys 400 Free Relay
- Changes prior to the day of the meet will be made at the discretion of the Meet Director
- GENERAL INFORMATION:
- EVERYBODY MUST FOLLOW ALL PARKING SIGNS AT ALL TIMES AND PARK IN LEGAL PARKING SPOTS
- Absolutely no meet parking in the tennis court area
- Buses must drop off and pick up later
- All swimmers will be INSIDE the gates on Friday for Trials
- All swimmers will be OUTSIDE the gates on Saturday for Finals
