FOOTBALL
All football contests shall be conducted under the rules of the National Federation of State High School Athletic Associations.
MEDICAL SUPERVISORS
CLASS 1: M.D. trained in sports medicine. Athletic Trainer certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association.
CLASS 2: M.D. without training in Sports Medicine. Paramedic, licensed Nurse, credentialed school nurse.
Sec. 1 There shall be a limit of ten games in Varsity, Junior Varsity and Frosh competition. EBAL will not have a 5th quart for Freshman
games.
Sec. 2 There shall be in attendance at all EBAL football games a Class 1 or 2 medical supervisor. The medical supervisor shall be provided by
the home team. See definition at the end of this section.
Sec. 3 Only freshman are eligible for the Frosh team.
Sec. 5 Each team must have two sets of jerseys. Visiting teams must wear white or light colored uniforms. This applies to all football teams and the home team will change jerseys if there is a color conflict. The referee shall decide is such a change is necessary.
Sec. 6 We will follow NCS guidelines regarding Spring practice..
Sec. 7 Night games shall start with the first game at 4:30pm JV and the Varsity at 7:15pm. Varsity games will start a minimum
30 minutes after the conclusion of the preliminary game.
Frosh night games start at 6:00 pm (frosh will have access to the field one hour prior to their game).
Sec. 8 The home team shall be responsible for providing adequate police protection at each home contest.
Sec. 9 Where possible, a Junior Varsity and Varsity competition shall be played as a double-header. Frosh games shall be scheduled for
Thursdays.
Sec. 10 Make-up games: In case of inclement weather, by mutual agreement, the game may be postponed. However, if by mutual consent
the game at the next available date in compliance with CIF/NCS bylaws.

Sec. 14 One scrimmage will be allowed. This scrimmage shall be held only under CIF regulations regarding individual and team practice

A. Allow for an “opt out” with DLS for the 5 teams in Mtn. division on a rotation resulting from a finish from the previous year.
The last place team in the Mountain will receive the opt out for DLS in the next year.
B. All Mountain games vs De La Salle do not count towards league standings.
C. Crossover games must be played and are non league games determined by the finishing places the previous year.

- This scrimmage should not be publicized nor admission charged.
